What is your primary focus at Blue Lakes?

I lead the origination and placement of private market transactions—primarily in litigation finance and structured credit. I work closely with fund managers and counterparties to ensure that each opportunity we bring to our investors is robust, well-structured, and aligned with our investment philosophy.

What defines your investment approach?

I look for idiosyncratic opportunities—ideas that are not driven by market beta but rather by structural inefficiencies or dislocations. I also place great importance on transparency and risk alignment. If we can’t fully explain how a strategy makes money—or how it might lose it—we don’t touch it.

What’s your role in helping clients access these opportunities?

I act as both a curator and a translator. Many of the transactions we bring are complex, and it’s my job to distill them clearly for our clients—what the edge is, where the risks lie, and how the return is generated. We also work hand-in-hand with clients to ensure operational feasibility across their platforms.

What keeps you committed to private markets?

The ability to be entrepreneurial with capital. Private markets allow you to engage deeply with counterparties, structure solutions, and back talent early. You don’t get that in public markets. When it works, it’s incredibly rewarding for all parties involved.
